Grand Opening With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
 
Carbon County – May 2017: Lehighton Downtown Initiative is pleased to announce the opening day of the much anticipated Lehighton Downtown Farmers Market.  Join the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation for a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 20^th at 11 am. Guests are invited to enjoy the producer only, outdoor market from 9 am until 1 pm. The Farmers Market will be located at the Lehighton Borough Park, 1 Constitution Avenue with plentiful parking around the park.
 
Opening day festivities include a craft show from 9 am until 1 p.m., music by JoNean Kimmel from 9 am – 11 am, ribbon cutting at 11 am, music by Damian Walck from 11 am – 1 pm an da live broadcast with WMGH, Kim the Morning Chick!
 
The producer only market will feature Foothill Farm, Teprovich Farm, AJ Fogel Farm, Minifarm Microgreens, White Confections, RG Stewart Family Farm, Blended Bakery, Greenway Apiaries, Graver Farmstead, Eliese SoapSuds, and Fire Fly Farm. The market will be every Saturday until October 7, 2017.
