2018 AARP 8-Hour Basic Smart Driver Class

New Seasons at St. Luke’s Gnaden Huetten Campus will co-sponsor an AARP Smart Driver Basic Class on Wed. & Thurs., March 21 and 22, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., both days, at the Bowmanstown Medical Plaza at 512 Bank St. in Bowmanstown. This is an 8-hour class, so you must attend both days. The course is designed for drivers 50 years of age or older and is classroom instruction only. Drivers who complete the AARP Driver Safety Course will receive a certificate which entitles them to a rate reduction on auto insurance. People who are interested in taking the course should confirm with their auto insurance company as to the discount percentage. The usual discount is five percent, and the certificate is valid for three years. AARP membership is not required. AARP members, $15; non-members, $20. Proof of AARP membership is required.
