2018 ART AROUND THE PARK IN WEISSPORT

"ART AROUND THE PARK IN WEISSPORT" If you are a lover of the arts, you might want to mark the date of October 6, 2018, on your calendar. The borough of Weissport, PA will be having its first "Art Around The Park" day from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Artists and photographers will be showcasing their works in 4 different locations. The Gallery, located next to Chantilly Goods Ice Cream Parlor, will be hosting the event. The Gallery features photography from 5 photographers, as well as an artist who specializes in oil and charcoal and a blacksmith. Other participants in the "Art Around The Park" Day will be the borough's 3 churches: Jacob's United Church of Christ, Christ Community Church, and Hope Community Fellowship Church. Artists will be displaying their work in each of the churches. Interested artists should contact Mr. Jeff Elder at 484-221-0325 to reserve a spot. There are no fees to set up, but donations to the National Alzheimer's Association will be accepted. Hayrides will also be given at the Weissport Canal and Harley The Pig aka "Pigcasso" will be in the park creating "Pig Art." Set up for all artists will be on Friday night from 6 to 8 pm or Saturday morning from 8 to 11am.
