2019 Eclipse Party

The New Year starts off with an astronomically rare event: a total lunar eclipse, visible in the Northeast. Join Dr. Carl Frankel for a brief indoor discussion on the whys and hows of an eclipse, followed by a short walk right outside the door to view this celestial event. Note the program takes place weather permitting, if a minimum of 12 participants pre-register. There is no fee. Hot cocoa will be available for all, and children will enjoy a unique moon craft.
