2019 Phenology Watch

Phenology is the study of “what happens and when” for plants and animals in a natural landscape. When do chipmunks begin hibernation? Which trees change color first in fall? Participants will learn to make their own phenology calendar using the colors of the seasons and surroundings. All ages are welcome to this free program, though small children may not enjoy the morning’s “sit and observe” focus.
