Top 10 SCAMS... Michelle Nutter, Attorney General office at Palmerton Area CoC Luncheon

There are two things we can count on!   One, is that the groundhog is generally wrong when he predicts an early Spring! The second, is that almost no one is immune to “robo calls” and attempted email scams.  The Chamber can’t do much about the former, but our guest speaker for this month’s luncheon will tell us how to avoid being a victim of the latter.

The Chamber will meet for lunch at noon on Tuesday March 12th at Joey B’s at 638 Delaware Avenue at which time Michelle Nutter of the Attorney General’s office in Harrisburg will speak to us about the most common telephone and email scams.  The incredible speed of computers and the low cost of communicating with literally millions of people in a short period of time makes it almost inevitable that sooner or later you will receive one of these unwelcomed contacts.  Ms Nutter will explain what action to take if one  comes your way.
