Sawmill Run Trail passes through a lesser-known area of Beltzville State Park. This 2.4-mile loop takes us through a variety of habitats, past a 18th Century slate quarry, a stone mill race, and other historical edifices. Due to uneven and rooty terrain, this hike is considered moderately difficult. This walk is free and is part of the Get Out! For Wellness series, in partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network. Follow Pohopoco Drive for 0.8 miles and turn right onto Old Mill Road. Follow Old Mill Road for 0.4 mile to the parking lot on your left. Please remember to park snuggly!
